1. Access wordpress by adding "/wp-admin" to the end of your websites address. Example: websitename.com.au/wp-admin



2 .Login with provided credentials (create a ticket if you don't have login details).


3. Select Posts from the left navigation bar.


4. Find and clone a post. It is best to clone a post that is most similar in design to that of your new post. Selecting clone will create a draft post. (If you cannot see this clone button, please create a support ticket).


5.  Click on the the newly cloned post to edit it. It will be a draft.


6.  Edit the post

You will need to change the title of the post at the top. You can also edit the text by selecting the pen icon when hovering your mouse over the text box.


7.  Set the categories. 

The categories section is on the right hand side of the page.

The categories determine which part of the website the post should show up in. 

In this example it is a post for the news section of the website.



8. Set the featured image (thumbnail).

Click featured image section is on the right hand side of the page. Click the link, which will allow you to drag and drop the thumbnail or featured image. Best practice is to use the same size and aspect ratio of the other posts' featured images.



9.  Set the Exerpt (optional). The excerpt section allows you to customise the summary of your news/blog post. If nothing is entered here, this just uses the first couple of sentences placed in the news/blog post.


10. Once you have completed your edits, select save draft, to ensure you do not lose your changes.

You can then select preview, this will allow you to see what the page would look like once you publish it.


11. When you are happy with the result, it is time to publish the post. If you don't want it go live immediately, select the date you would like to schedule it for, then select schedule. If you would like to publish it immediately, simply select publish.
